The staff is wonderful about helping you come up with ideas, and they can also quickly locating the pieces they suggest, which is a huge time saver. A Masquerade Costume also rents costumes and accessories, from platform shoes and sequin tuxedo tailcoats to headdresses and corsets to amazing hand made masks. Get fully into character by scheduling an appointment with one of their make-up artists, who will help you achieve the perfect look. After a trip here, that first place prize is in the bag.

The Buffalo Exchange is a worthwhile stop when looking for a basic piece to build your Pride outfit from. They have a nice variety of new and used clothing that can become adorably flirty with few fun accessories. The store carries a lot of frat/sorority-type clothing, but there are also some random funky finds. Buffalo Exchange is a large, and packed, store so you’re sure to locate a few treasures after digging for awhile. Best of all, shopping at a gently used clothing store means you’ll have some left over cash to splurge on all the goodies vendors are sure to be selling at the festivities.

If you’re really strapped for time, check out Champion Party Supply where you can rent nearly any costume you can imagine. If you want a pride costume you can keep, they also have a large selection of fun costumes for sale, including Mother Nature, enticing French maids, sexy police officers, flirty fairies and hot firemen. Champion is also a great place to pick up a last minute set of wings, a feather boa or a mask to finish off your look.
